Service offered: One-to-one bereavement support for relatives, friends and carers of patients who were registered with a service provided by Saint Catherine’s. The service is available to children aged five and over, young people and adults who have experienced the death of a significant person in their life. Also provides palliative care counselling, which is available to patients, relatives and carers at any point during the time from a patient’s diagnosis through to their end of life. The service is provided by professionally trained and accredited counsellors who can work with adults (including couples), children and young people. Patients who are registered with Saint Catherine’s, their families and carers can all access this service.
