The Practice is aware of recent negative social media posts regarding telephone delays when contacting the practice. We are working hard to improve the telephone response time. We also regularly auditing our telephone response times to ensure any lengthy delays are known and investigated. 8am daily is extremely busy with calls from patients requiring medical advice that day. Data shows lighter telephone traffic after 2pm, therefore if your request is not urgent for that day we would recommend contacting the practice after this time. We would also ask that requests for repeat prescriptions are made from 8.30am onwards following the automated telephone instruction.
